Major-General Ashley Truluck
Major General Ashley Truluck CB CBE was a career soldier who served worldwide with the Brigade of Gurkhas and in Command & Control appointments in the British Army and NATO. He now works as a strategic Defence & National Security Advisor to Government and Defence companies. Colonel Commandant of the Royal Corps of Signals, he is also Chairman of its Benevolent Fund and of The Gurkha Welfare Trust (Wessex & South). He has had a life-long fascination for Military History which was fostered by study under Richard Holmes, taking a particular interest in Wellington and the Peninsular War.
