Amanda Pavlick, MA
Lecturer in Classics
Amanda Pavlick is a lecturer in Classics at The Ohio State University and is currently a doctoral candidate (on pre-Roman central Italy in the Archaic Period) at the University of Cincinnati. She has extensive field archaeological experience throughout Italy and beyond, having worked mainly in Pompeii, but also in Tuscany, England (Vindolanda), and the Republic of Georgia. In particular she spent seven years with the Pompeii Archaeological Research Project (Porta Stabia) and developed a rigorous knowledge of the site’s ancient history and that of its modern recovery, excavation, and conservation.
