Dr Kostas Georgakopoulos
Archaeologist & Lecturer at the School of Tourist Guides of Crete
Dr. Georgakopoulos studied Archaeology (BA, MA) at the University of Crete, and completed his PhD Thesis on Late Bronze Age Aegean-Anatolian interconnections at the University of Liverpool. He has participated in various excavations in Greece and Turkey, while he has taught Hittite and Minoan/Mycenaean archaeology at the University of Liverpool and Democritus University of Thrace (Northern Greece) respectively. He is currently teaching Prehistoric Archaeology and Guiding Techniques at the School of Tourist Guides of Crete.
