Historian and journalist, Nigel Jones is the author of eight historical books and biographies, including the lives of Rupert Brooke and Oswald Mosley, ‘Peace and War: Britain in 1914’ and ‘Tower: An Epic History of the Tower of London’. An authority on the poets of the Great War and the rise of Nazism and Fascism between the world wars, Nigel has been guiding historical tours of the Western Front, Germany and Italy for several years. Former deputy editor on ‘History Today’ and a founding editor of ‘BBC History’ magazine, Nigel writes and reviews regularly for these and other national newspapers and magazines. He frequently appears on TV historical documentaries.
