Immortal Egypt: Our Egyptian Cultural Experience Brought to Life

Earlier this year, guests joined us on Immortal Egypt: Bringing an Ancient Civilisation to Life – an unforgettable journey through one of the world’s most captivating historical landscapes.

Led by renowned Egyptologist Professor Joann Fletcher, the tour explored the colossal pyramids of Giza and Saqqara before travelling south along the Nile to Luxor, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombu, Aswan and the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel. From monumental architecture to the intimate artistry of tombs and temples, the experience offered a fresh and deeply informed perspective on the archaeology, religion and daily life of ancient Egypt.

We are delighted to share Professor Fletcher’s personal reflection, capturing the atmosphere, discoveries and memorable moments that made this journey so special.

If you would like to join a future departure of Immortal Egypt, you can find full details here.

Professor Fletcher will also be leading Ancient Egypt’s Hidden Treasures later this year – discover more and book to join us here.

Egypt continues to reward the curious traveller – and this remarkable cultural experience shows precisely why.
