Bespoke D-Day and Normandy Invasion Tours

Bespoke D-Day and Normandy Invasion Tours

Tour Introduction

Operation Overlord and the invasions of 6th June 1944 were one of the most crucial moments in the war, opening up a second front in Europe and leading to the eventual defeat of the German war machine. Touring this area offers the chance to explore those fateful days through the eyes of the men who were there. See the landing beaches, German coastal defences, hedgerows and towns that the allies fought their way through, in your own time and to your own specification. The joy of seeing the Normandy battle sites on an individual basis is that you can tailor it to your own interests, whether it’s a general tour of the whole area or you wish to follow a certain regiment or even individual. There is a plethora of sites to visit in the area and you can base yourself in some picturesque seaside towns or one of the ancient medieval cathedral cities of the region.
