Vikings!Starts 5th July 2027 (9 days) An 8-night and 9-day tour exploring some the best Viking sites in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Travelling between the cities of Odense, Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm this tour explores a range of archaeological sites, burial mounds, runic standing stones, remains of longboats and even a ship burial. Arnhem, Operation Market Garden and the Rhine CrossingsThis 6-day tour follows the dramatic story of Operation Market Garden and the costly attack then retreat by British airborne forces from a ‘Bridge too Far’. Moving towards the Rhine the tour then explores the subsequent Allied attempts to secure bridgeheads over the river and finishes at Remagen at the critical strategic crossing point at the site of the Ludendorff Bridge.View Tour Details
