Prof Elif Korporal
Professor of Archaeology Mimar Sinan University, Istanbul
Dr Elif Koparal is Professor in Archaeology at Mimar Sinan University in İstanbul. She studied Archaeology (BA, MA) at the Aegean University in İzmir and attained her PhD in Settlement Archaeology at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara. She continued with post-docoral studies at University College, London. Elif has participated in numerous field projects in Türkiye and Greece and participated as an expert in prominent archaeological projects funded by The British Academy and European Union. Her research interests focus on Aegean archaeology, landscape and cultural heritage. She has also worked as a professional cultural tourist guide leading tours to several parts of Türkiye.
