TCE provided a great experience at every level. Our accommodations were always nice. The food was top notch. I felt safe in every area that we stayed in, ate in, and visited. Our tour guide (Stephen) was attentive to our needs and constantly checked in on everyone. I noticed that whenever a tour member was unusually quiet or subdued, the tour manager would make a point of going over and speaking quietly to the individual to make sure they were ok.

Supported by Ian Coyne as Tour Manager who is very well organized and who continually plans ahead. Ahead of arriving in Aachen, Germany on Friday, July 3, Ian contacted the Hotel to make sure all of the arrangements were made.
While confirming the address of the hotel, he determined the actual address was different than scheduled. There were two hotels from the same chain and the booking was outside Aachen not inside the city as was scheduled.
He quickly made some quick changes in when a walking tour would start and all came off well.

Everything was well-organised with little in the way of major problems. While I did have some confusion at one point over flights and seat bookings, but this was sorted and explained to my satisfaction by tour manager Alan Rooney.

I had no issues with the hotels or catering arrangements provided and would add a special word for our American bus tour driver Cory. Great driving at all times plus always friendly and helpful.

The choice of Hotel was very wise and my only complaint was that the two wines offered on the first evening meal were awful.
