Worthwhile Holocaust Tour

It was OK. The tour manager worked hard and tried to meet everyone?s needs. Sometimes the forest was lost for the trees or vice versa. Could have communicated better on the bus. She often assumed that everyone had heard a scheduling announcement when those of us in the back had not.

Excellent tour of D-Day! Simon was a terrific guide! I felt very fortunate we had someone with his expansive knowledge of the history of D-Day on June 6th 1944 and the days following. Simon provided us with allot of fascinating information, exceptional maps, and photography. We traveled to allot fascinating battle fields throughout Normandy that I never knew existed. The hand-out provided Simon was also very beneficial. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a detailed overview of the events occurring on D-Day (and the days following).

Overall Very good service.
The tour company went out of their way to accommodate us. There were some minor blips with time constraints for a tour but the company offered alternatives to accommodate everyone.

The Hundred Years War
First class hotels in every location. Good, local food from well chosen restaurants. Very comfortable bus with excellent driver to ferry us from town to town. And well organised and comfortable travel by train from London to Lille, Poitier to Bayeux and Bayeux back to London. Couldn't be better!

On the tour I did find Shaun was helpful
sorry but I do feel you need to communicate critical detail earlier ... train times for example.
As for the Tour Guide ... it has convinced me that tours like yours are worthwhile and value for money
If this subject matter on this tour is your passion, then don?t miss this.

Generally good but It would have helped to have earlier notice of the flight details in order to decide whether a hotel was needed the night before travelling and that after our return.

Discovering historic Wessex.
The Wessex of Alfred the Great
It was good to receive a pre- tour reading guide before the tours. The itinerary was detailed and prepared us for the country walking to reach some sites.
The evening meals were delicious and well presented.
The accommodation was comfortable.
