The highly moving story of the Frank family in wartime Amsterdam has been emblematic of the tragic fate of so many Jewish and other victims of the Holocaust. Arnhem, Operation Market Garden and the Rhine Crossings This 6-day tour follows the dramatic story of Operation Market Garden and the costly attack then retreat by British airborne forces from a ‘Bridge too Far’. Moving towards the Rhine the tour then explores the subsequent Allied attempts to secure bridgeheads over the river and finishes at Remagen at the critical strategic crossing point at the site of the Ludendorff Bridge. find out more and register interest
